How We Research Products
Every recommendation follows the same process, so you can judge how much weight to give it.
1. Define the buyer
Each list starts with who it's for: household size, budget range, skill level or space.
2. Gather the facts
We collect manufacturer specifications, manuals and warranty terms, and note which claims come from the manufacturer.
3. Cross-check real-world use
We read independent expert reviews and patterns in owner reports, looking for repeated praise or complaints rather than single anecdotes.
4. Write it plainly
Every product gets strengths and limitations. We label manufacturer claims as such, and we update pages when products change.
